We translate user manuals, specifications, technical brochures, Web sites from/to Turkish and English. Our experienced and highly skilled technical translators have in-depth experience and knowledge of computer hardware and software. We place great emphasis on project management to deliver on-time and on budget. Until now, we have translated user manuals of printers, copiers and other peripherals for a broad range of customers. Through our professional in-house and freelance translators, we offer not only accurate but also industry specific translations.

Software localization is full adaptation of a product so that it meets the requirements of the target audience.

This process is more than translation as it requires other non-linguistic skills like engineering (setup, compilation, testing, bug fixing etc.) The original integrity of the product and the message it conveys shall be maintained. The localized product must have the look and feel of being specifically developed for the target audience. The localization of a software product includes the user interface, Help and documentation files. The using of up-to-date terminology and conforming to the linguistic style of the target country is vital. Utilization of computer-aided translation tools facilitate the consistent use of terms across a localization project which involves multiple translators and proof-readers. Translation memory tools store the source text and its translation in a database and streamline the process. LQA testing is an essential part of making your project speak to your intended audience in your brand’s unique voice. The final product will look and function exactly as it should thanks to our rigorous testing & QA process. Any bugs due to truncations, display, context, under or over translation, or internationalization are meticulously recorded, resolved and confirmed before final approval.

Translating a user manual or a marketing collateral piece is only half the challenge.

Once the initial linguistic work is finished, there are additional steps that need to be taken before the project can be considered "done":
  • pages need to be reformatted in order to accommodate language expansion as well as to ensure that the layout is identical to that of the source language document
  • graphics containing text need to be localized
  • screens captured from localized applications need to replace source-language screens
  • indexes and tables of contents need to be generated and proofread for accuracy
  • PDFs need to be generated to be sent as deliverables along with source application files

Since all languages have numerous variations, machines will not be able to find the correct translation in every instance. Therefore, in order to make use of machine translation, post-editing will be inevitable to get a highly reliable output. With employing the right technology tools and experienced translators, the post-editing process will improve the quality and efficiency of machine translation projects.
